HSE Audits

An HSE Audit can mean any of the following:

  • A documentation review of achievement against the requirements of your HSE Management System/Plan, to identify non-compliances and/or where the system/plan itself can be improved to enable a higher level of HSE management

  • A documentation review of your HSE/Q Management System to assess achievement of the requirements of International Management System Standards:

    • ISO 45001- Occupational health and safety

    • ISO 14001- Environmental management

    • ISO 9001- Quality management

  • A review of your work activity and HSE/Q Management System to ensure that all workplace hazards have been identified, documented and risk controls allocated, including responsibilities for implementation and review

In most organisations, having an HSE Management System or Plan alone, without auditing of compliance and suitability, does not guarantee a healthy, safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Implementation of the HSE Management System should be monitored on a regular basis to ensure personnel are adhering to safe work practices and overall requirements of the HSE Management System/Plan.

ASHE can conduct formal and regular inspections of your workplace/site/activities/project to assess compliance with legislative requirements and the requirements of your HSE Management System/Plan with the aim of formally identifying hazards. This will enable you, with our assistance as required, to implement corrective actions and reduce the risk of harm to personnel, the environment and property.
